I am very excited to introduce my new self-help book "How to sleep train your baby in 452 easy steps. One dad's journey from party animal to partLy animal." Upon printing a small batch (100,000 books) of my magnum opus I sadly realised that your kid will be in university by the time you master my 452 steps. Although I highly recommend this encyclopedia to any parent (available in fine bookstores everywhere for $199), it is slightly impractical. If you are in a hurry and want your kiddo to sleep through the night, tonight, you could give our Charcoal Overnight insert a shot:
It Lasts All Night: Parents have used our overnight cloth diaper insert for 10-12 hours at a stretch.
Absorbency: You get 8 layers of absorbency in our inserts that will soak up minor oil spills if necessary.
Stay Dry: Most kids wake up at night because they feel uncomfortable in a wet diaper. The charcoal fabric is completely stay dry. The only way even you will know its wet in the morning is by the weight on the diaper.
No Leaks: There is an extra gusset on the insert that prevents leaks. Add to that there is a waterproof layer of PUL on the underside of the insert that keeps the cover dry as well.
Ideal for: If your kid is a heavy wetter and the regular charcoal insert is not enough to last your baby through the night, only then we would recommend getting one these bad boys. Or if your kid is over 18 months old.
I had been using disposables for overnight because I wanted a trim yet effective overnight diaper. This insert did the trick. My son is 3.5 months old and had this insert for about 10 hours. No leaks, he didn't even feel soaked when I changed him in the morning. The fit is great, not super bulky and very comfy. I am buying 3 more so we can get rid of disposables. Very happy with this product. clara p. on 5th May 2016
I've tried lots of options for my heavy wetter, and the charcoal overnight is one of my favorites. Easy to use and not too bulky, I'd recommend giving it a try! Abbie on 28th Apr 2016
I have been using cloth diapers since my son was 6 weeks old, but using disposables overnight because he was leaking through his cloth diapers. So I went searching for cloth inserts that would hold him overnight (he typically sleeps from 7:30pm-4:00am, gets up to eat, and then sleeps until 6am). These hold up from 7:30-4:30 no leaks! I typically have to change him at 4:30am. It's so nice to be fully in cloth!!! Susanna D. on 17th Mar 2016
We starting using these on my almost 4 year old when he kept leaking through disposable options. Not one leak since we starting using these and they are incredibly trim--no bulk! Kate on 11th Feb 2016
This insert keeps my little girl happy and dry overnight for 10+ hours! And I love that if she does wake up and need a diaper change, then I just snap out the insert and snap a new one in. No longer am I going through 2 or more diapers a night! Megan on 17th Jan 2016
We had been cloth diapering during the day but I was afraid to take the leap into overnight cloth. When my son was about 3.5 months old, he began waking up soaked through to his sheets no matter what we put him in... disposable or cloth. I began looking for solutions and found the Lil Helper overnight insert. I loved the fact that it was made with the Charcoal Bamboo because he can get a little irritated with the wet cotton of his prefold diapers after more than a few hours. After a little trial and error (mostly getting them to fit properly AND making sure to point him in the right direction) he can now wear his overnight diaper for 12 hours! I usually get up and feed him once in the night, but changing his diaper wakes him up completely. With this diaper I can just grab him, feed him, and lay him right back down. I just bought 2 more inserts so we now have 4 in our rotation to last until wash day with 1 spare just in case! SO Happy!!! Katie on 13th May 2015
