There are questions that have plagued humanity for ages:
How did the universe come into place?
Which came first: the chicken or the egg?
Where do parents store their dirty cloth diapers?
Rest assured we have our brightest minds working on the first two questions but the third, we are proud to report, has been cracked! It’s the Lil Helper zippered wetbag:
Waterproof Material: Our wet bag is made of the same resilient, waterproof PUL that is used for our PUL cloth diapers. When we say waterproof, we essentially mean that the bag won't leak if you happen to put in diapers that are "moisture laden".
Secure Construction: All our wetbags are double stitched to prevent leaks- a feature available in no other wetbag on the market. The bottom of the bag is continuous fabric and the top is a zip- also preventing leaks.
High Quality Zipper: The zippers used for our bags are the best in the industry- durable and smooth.
Convenient & Multi-Use: The bag is big enough to store 3-4 diapers, ideal being on the move or daycare use.
Snap Loop/Handle: Snappable loops make the bag convenient to latch on to the stroller, crib or car door. As you might have guessed, the word “snappable” was invented by the geniuses working for Lil Helper Cloth Diapers. We hold exclusive rights to this word and any infringement will be dealt with severely. Be warned, we are heavily lawyered.
Good size and quality. Zipper wet bag I had in the past the zipper started to fail, wouldn’t zip and get stuck too. This one PUL is really good quality and the zipper is still in good shape. Glad I didn’t get another brand and just waste my money. I can’t wait to get more of the prints. Got mine from the wet bag deal and the color selections are still great! Cesiah Rios on 30th Sep 2018
When I’m not using this as a travel wetbag, I use this to sort my laundry too. I put baby’s socks, bibs, wash cloths and other small items after drying so it’ll be easier for me to put away to the designated drawers... Rachel on 13th Mar 2018
I ordered one of the chevron print wetbags to use. First let me start off by saying I love the print. It is too cute! The size is great and I love that the handle snaps. I have one hanging off my changing table in my bedroom right now. I will definitely have to order more to stash in my diaper bags. Also great for wet/soiled clothes... no smells! The zipper wetbags are great quality. I've tried multiple brands and these can't be beat. I do look forward to a slightly larger version for home, but I love using cloth diapers on the go with these and they are great for daycare! Elaine on 7th Sep 2016
So I waited a bit longer to post a review, so I could spend some time and get some uses out of the wetbag before saying anything about it. Overall, it's an alright wetbag. I've had it for about 4 months and it's not completely ruined yet :)
-It keeps moisture in
-It has a snap loop, so you can bring it with you on a stroller, on the strap of a diaper bag, etc.
-It keeps the smell of wet diapers in
-It doesn't take up much room in the diaper bag (but this is also kind of a con, see below)
-It's really small. It's great for travel size, but I can't really fit more than 3 full diapers (cover + 2 charcoal inserts), and if there's a poopy one, it's really hard to get it in without getting poop either all over my hands, or all over the zipper of the bag. Maybe that's just part of my first-time-parenting problem though, I don't really know.
-The layer on the inside started flaking(?) after 3 washes in the washer. I washed it as the instructions said, with cold water, and hung dry. It still holds in moisture, and it's not that big of a problem at all, more of a cosmetic issue.
-It's really only one layer. There's the PUL layer on the outside, and it seems like just the backside of that PUL layer on the inside. It could be two layers fused together, I'm not really sure, but you can't physically pull out that inner layer like you can some other wetbags.
-It doesn't keep in the smell of poopy diapers
But here's the thing: Lil Helper has AMAZING customer service. The wetbag, overall, is completely functional and works as it should, and if anything were to go majorly wrong, I'm confident they would do everything in their power to fix it. So if you're looking to buy from Lil Helper, go for it! You won't get the same kind of small-business help from any of the other big retailers that sell wetbags or cloth diapers. It's a great size for a day out running errands. I do wish it came in a larger size too just so I could have one for all of my dispers. Great quality product that hasn't leaked and I love the convenience of the snap hanging loop. julie on 11th Apr 2016
I haven't yet had the chance to test the product out since baby hasn't been born yet, but so far I am extremely impressed and pleased with my purchase! The zipper wet-bag is made of a soft, seemingly very durable material (almost feels like a lightweight neoprene), and the color is perfect (I ordered the purple). I also love that it has a snap-able loop handle. I have only ordered one to keep in our diaper bag but am considering ordering a couple more to have on hand. This would make a great gift for parents and parents-to-be. Thank you, Lil' Helper Diapers, for making awesome quality products at reasonable prices! Unknown on 23rd Sep 2015
It's a little smaller than other wet bags, but still holds about 3 or 4 pocket diapers. It's perfect for the diaper bag. It has a nice fabric on the outside and a nice long strap. So far I love it!! They were out of the color I requested and sent me a more expensive patterned bag! Great company! jen on 23rd Jul 2015
This wet bag works perfectly, holds plenty of diapers and wipes for an outing and does a great job containing mess and smells. It dries quickly since it's only one layer so it's always ready for the next trip. EBrown on 9th May 2015
THE ZIPPERED WET BAG IS PERFECT FOR CONTAINING MESSES (INCLUDING DIRTY DIAPERS) WHILE ON THE GO. I KEEP ONE I MY DIAPER BAG AND SIMPLY TURN OUT STRAIGHT UNIT THE WASHING MACHINE WHEN I GET HOME. JEN on 22nd Feb 2015
